About being on the court playing on the pro circuit:
"Nothing will ever compare to being on the court, I miss the actual matches and 7-6 in the third, and playing in front of 20,000 people and the adrenalin rush."
"It's a way of life, it's 24/7, and you've either got to do it or you don't. You've got to do it while you can and once your body gives up. . ."
"Plus it is hard mentally. I have other passions now. But will I find something exactly the same, with the same feeling? No, that's something you really can't duplicate."
(Once again) about the rumours that she and Enriqure have split:
"Status is that everything is fine and everything is good. He's out promoting
his new album which is out tomorrow. . . please everybody get one. But
everything is good, I couldn't be happier."
Anna about the lingering effects of her numerous injuries:
"My foot where I have my screw will be itching when it's raining. I get affected by the weather. I definitely feel it in my joints. I still keep in shape and try to work out but I definitely feel like I was a professional athlete, I definitely feel like my body has been through a lot."
About the amount of tennis she's playing these days:
"I'm just trying to get ready for all the masters (events) that I'm going to
be playing this summer. When I'm home I try to play as much as I can, every
other day, even if it's just for half an hour or an hour."
Furthermore, Anna was asked if she would consider returning to play
doubles with Martina and she said lots of nice things about Martina ("we grew
up together") but she didn't answer the question. She said she didn't live in
LA because of all the paparazzi and media. She said she didn't mind turning
26 and that she felt good about getting older and wiser.
Plus, she said (in responce to a question...) that she would be
interested in doing an exhibition/charity event in Europe but it was obvious
nothing was planned.
Thanx very much to "Crazyemerald"
