Anna Kournikova beats Ai Sugiyama

It took Kournikova just an hour to crush her opponent, breaking Sugiyama's serve six times and then declared:

"It feels great. I'm very happy with my performance. I think I was doing everything well -- returning and serving.I'm happy to be in the semis."

There she will face Lindsay Davenport in her fifth career semi-final and will be looking to improve on her 2-4 record against the American.

"I played Lindsay already twice this year and had a lot of chances. Hopefully, I will use the experience to play my best tennis and we'll see how it goes. Tomorrow, I'm just   going to have to go in and not worry who is on the other side of the net and play my game."
