JQ: How is she doing?
EI: (quiet).. good
JQ: How is she?
EI: She is great, a fighter, she is proffesional, independent, she is the
most amusing person that i know. I never get bored when im with her, she
puts up with me which is very difficult to put up with me. This is more
than..well i never expected to be with a person like this. With this human
quality that she has, i never expected it.
JQ: love exist?
EI: The love exists.
JQ: Your father has an eye for woman.
EI: My taste is a little bit different, i only had one girlfriend in my life
up until now.
JQ: And is that her?
EI: She is a girl that i consider my girlfriend.
JQ: Was there a time when you beat her in Tennis?
EI: No.
JQ: It' impossible...
EI: Impossible.
JQ: Impossible? (laughing) What are her qualities as a tennis player for you?
EI: She was criticized a lot for not winning any big tourment (US Open...)
but i believe that the people and the press have frogotten analyzing her
story. We are talking about a girl that since the age of 3 grew up in Moscow,
a very poor family. She showed me where she grew up, in a very small
apartment and it impressed me. I'm not exaggerating, it was double this
table size, and there she grew up with her grandparents. At the age of 4 she
was given a tennis racket to play and at the age of 12 she was #1 in the
juniors in the world, beating players in the age 15-26. At the age of 14 she
became professional and was #67 which wasn't bad at all but the unfortunate
thing is that she never won a tournment and if you ask me from games i
saw through the years, not that i know much about tennis and analyzed the
players, i think she is a great tennis player, and i'm not saying this
because she is my girlfriend. I say it because I believe it and i know it
and i think that she can be better.
