major AKFS makeover >> AKFS 25
Since many many years the Anna Kournikova Forever Site (AKFS) hasn't changed that much beside some color adjustments and a few features (exemption: the big Image Removal in July 2005)!
Today, it's the launch of the "AKFS 25" (25 because of Anna's current age)
MAJOR CHANGES:
- Frames removed
- Navigation structure changed (TENNIS-section separated)
- table-design removed almost completely (exemption: Results, News-iframe,
photos)
- content and design strictly separated >> 1 external CSS-file
- Server-Side Includes (SSI) for AKFS Logo, Navigation menu, Copyright notice
- Start page removed (Flash-Intro) >> start page is now the
AKFS Main Page

a really sad day for the AKFS - I had to close down almost ALL IMAGES GALLERIES. Here's the listing of sections I had to close down:

"AKFS Tour Gallery" now "AKFS Tennis Gallery"
AKFS TOUR GALLERY renamed - now the Tennis pictures-section is called the
AKFS TENNIS GALLERY
Reason: Being named "Tour Gallery" I always had the impression that I can/should only post pictures from WTA Tournaments into this section. But Anna doesn't play on the Pro Tour anymore - just charity and exhibition events. Therefore I think that "Tennis Gallery" is more suitable.
