"Sleepdeprived" (member of Official Messageboard and I think most Anna-fans know him by now) was in Ottawa at the Legendary Nights Tennis Classic exhibition which took place on September 24th. See his great HQ photos he took at the Official Messageboard's Members Photos

Infos about the exhibition itself from "Sleepdeprived":
Unfortunately the stadium wasn't sold out (low
attendance), Anna played good vs Jana Novotna in the
beginning but later she made too many unforced
errors. During the Mixed match she played with
McEnroe vs Jim Courier/Jana Novotna she played a few
balls vs ball girls. Together with John McEnroe Anna
also played against 2 juniors from a local tennis
team. The whole event lasted for 4 hours.

Anna at Tacoma for Boys & Girls Club
Anna made anarrival at the Boys & Girls Club’s “Just Takes One” fund-raising kickoff campaign which took place at Tacoma's Dome Exhibition Hall on September 27th. She was accompanied by her manager and Kurt Aschermann, the senior vice president of marketing for the Boys & Girls Club of America.
Anna contacted Aschermann two years ago about committing herself to volunteer work!!! Since then, Anna showed a huge commitment for the Boys & Girls Club. Today, Anna is the most-requested celebrity to attend a Boys & Girls Club-related function.
What was going on in Tacoma? Attendees honored the 2005 Youth of the Year, Robbie Guthrie. Anna also held a speech in which she was passionately talking about her experience growing up in a tennis club in Russia and later in Florida.
Reportedly, Anna just requested an airline ticket and a hotel room as compensation for speaking in Tacoma. Aschermann afterwards: “This is a good, solid young woman." Read the whole article | Business Examiner

Ottawa exhibition news
Anna played ad the Legendary Nights Tennis Classic in Ottawa on September 24th (BILD report). Anna lost her Singles match set vs Jana Novotna 3:6. Comeback?: "I kind of hope and wish I can still come back"
Anna made another phone interview from Miami in order to promote the Legendary Nights Tennis Classic which takes place on September 24th in Ottawa's Corel Centre. Quotes:

Anna made a telephone Interview to promote the Legendary Nights Tennis Classic (Sept. 24th in Ottawa (CAN) - new detailed event article) on September 19th. THE most interesting statements regarding her tennis future:

PERSONAL COMMENT: All I can say (and I know that I don't say this for the first time) is that it would be a dream come true if Anna would start a comeback at the Pro Tour. But: After SUCH a long long time I don't think that's possible anymore - at least if she wants to be ranked among the Top players again and I am sure that's what her goal would be.

Anna at Corrirroma Race
As reported, Anna attended the Race of Corrirroma in Rome (Italy) last saturday (September 11th, 2005, 0:00am). Since 1 week no pictures and no reports came out but now, at least we got these pictures at isifa.com (search for "kournikova"). She looks great - as usual. What did she do there exactly? Anna hosted the first marathon edition cross the Colosseum and the Roman Forum.

Anna attended the Fashion Show Spring 2006 in New York on September 13, 2005 (9:00pm, 55 Wall Street). She was at the Adidas Y-3 presentation (she sat in the front row next to Damon Dash). Reports: style.com | Yahoo

figures: Swatch contacted Anna (and
Nicole Kidman) in an effort to raise Omega's profile.
Anna and Nicole are the figure heads of Omega and
both should represent the brand as part of a

Anna in Rome

Enrique-Interview
Enrique has been interviewed by Kee Hua Chee (whole article) because of his perfume (Tommy Hilfiger is Distributor, "True Star Men"-perfume) and of course he was also asked about Anna:
Q: "So, are you married to Anna Kournikova?"
EI: "No, we are divorced."
Q: "Oh, come on. That means you both got hitched in
Puerto Vallerta, Mexico, as reported?"
EI: "We are too young and immature to take such a
step. And anyway, Anna is not dumb enough to marry
someone like me."
The interviewer told him that she was with Anna two
years ago on the Orient-Express from Vienna to
Prague when Omega chartered the entire train for a
Hercule Poirot murder mystery charade. Enriques eyes
light up, instantly betraying his love "Oh, was she
nice to you?"
Interviewer: "Very. We got on like a house on fire.
So well, in fact, she even showed me her tattoo of a
sunburst on her back just above her bikini line. She
even allowed me to take a photo of it."
