PERSONAL COMMENT: Hopefully "Sleepdeprived" will be there and he'll be able to take photographs, although it is not allowed in general (read the "note" at the bottom of the Event Details). In my opinion, that sucks. People pay a lot of money for tickets and aren't allowed to take photos or use their camcorders. What's the reason for that???

elementary school in Los Angeles on Wednesday,
October 26th. Anna, Elizabeth Shue and Kenny "Babyface"
Edmunds will join local school executives and
leaders, along with Bank Of America, to help launch
Donors Choose.org, "America's Most Innovative
Charity", for Los Angeles Area Public Schools.

SportWeek-Int.: "Moment of transition" / Anna and the law / accident pics
Anna has been interviewed by Silvia Guerriero for SportWeek Magazine in Rome (when Anna was running at the "CorriRoma" on September 10th). The most interesting comment (I think so) was how she thinks about her "status" as a tennis player right now: "Let's say it's a moment of transition."...

Miami-Dade County Traffic Online records (key in
"kournikova", "Anna", her birthdate (June 7th, 1981)
and select "female", then click on defendent name).
Anna's infractions:

5290CMY - Safety Belt Viiolation By Driver - $84.50

PERSONAL COMMENT: Unbelievable that these things are viewable for the public (even the last digits of her driver's license number). Due to good data protection regulations, this isn't possible here in Germany (just a few authorities like the police etc).

new Journal entry
A new Journal entry is available at Anna's official website - and it's quite a long one this time :-) She talks about her busy September and I didn't knew that she did a photoshooting for SportWeek Magazine while she was in Italy for the CorriRoma on September 10th - see pictures and her audio comment at the "Gazzetto dello Sport"-website). Interesting: She did attend the Adidas Y-3 fashion show in Paris in March - I've never seen pictures of this event which is strange. Other interesting quotes:

Anna had an accident:
Anna had an accident with an uninsured Miami
cleaning woman on September 30th! Anna drove her
black Cadillac Escalade and she collided with a red
sedan at around 11:00 am. Anna reportedly talked
angrily to cops later on. Miami Beach police
couldn't say who was at fault so far. According to
the New York Post source the woman appeared to have
pulled out of a bagel shop too fast.
