Just an asumption I make because NOW I know where she was yesterday...! Anna was one of the stars at another OMEGA event - together with Martina Hingis she was the star ambassador at the opening of Lugano's new casino)!
SO, this means that Anna
most likely left the United States straight after
she attended the NBA game on tuesday, November 26 (picture)
- she flew to Lugano (Switzerland) for the
Omega-event yesterday (more)
and most likely she already left Lugano yesterday to
fly to Zaragoza.
TODAY she'll be practising I assume and hopefully we
soon see pictures from Anna oncourt again :-))))

who remembers Anna ("ponytail-jogger") who was
running next to their Football field! He is one out
of a group of 1984 graduates of Bloomfield Hills
Lahser High School in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan!
These guys were conducting their traditional annual
Turkey Bowl and Anna, well - according to what this
guy wrote she was dating Sergej Fedorov at that
time...!

I don't know HOW MANY MILLION TIMES I posted such a "Anna & Enrique"-topic yet! I read that Enrique recently did an interview back in the UK (London I assume) with Jonathon ? where the outcome was that Anna & Enrique are still together. But on the official Enrique Messageboards you can read many threads from "Anna dumped Enrique" to "marriage"!
Personally I doubt ALL of those reports - NEITHER ANNA NOR ENRIQUE HAVE CONFIRMED OR DENIED THEIR RELATIONSHIP OFFICIALLY YET! So I doubt all these gossip-reports!

Collins Cup on TV & News-report / new Adidas commercial with LPGA star???
Well, lucky british people. TV channel Sky Sports One will broadcast LIVE from the Collins Cup (the 3-day-event in Dublin, Ireland) starting at December 5!
Unfortunately Eurosport will show NOTHING :-((( That's at least what I read in my tv guide!

will be held on December 4 (start at 8:30pm local),
prior to the Europe vs USA Tennis event (December

Anna's going to Zaragoza / 1st week 2003 off??? / Sydney & Aussie Open at Eurosport
Anna is going to play her first exhibition in Zaragoza (Spain) in 8 days. Anna said in her last journal-entry: "I expect to be ready to play the four exhibitions." So I assume that Anna will fly to Zaragoza during next week. But WHERE IS ZARAGOZA and WHERE IS THIS PRINCE FELIPE PAVILION where she will be playing her match against Conchita Martinez?? Take a look at the pictures:
1st week of 2003 off???: The
commitments are out for Gold Coast and Auckland (first
tournaments in 2003, right before Sydney) - Anna's
name doesn't appear on ANY of the lists and she also
hasn't committed to play in the Hongkong exhibition
(she played there in 99 and 2001)!
Does this mean that Anna doesn't plan to play in the 1st week of 2003??? I don't think so because there is plenty of time for her to confirm that she plays at one of those events! I think that she wants to see at which level her game is at the upcoming four exhibitions and perhaps after these events she'll decide if she wants to play at one of those two tournaments! There IS a possibility for her to get a seed at the Australian Open (starting in 3rd January-week) but it would be necessary for her to play in the 1st week of 2003! We will see but I think that she WILL play at either Auckland (like this year) or Gold Coast (like in 2000)!

Enrique about Anna at TV show
Enrique was on a tv show last night. The presenter, Jonathan Ross, asked him about Anna. He said that they were friends - and then they put up a picture of her and Jonathan said something like "no guy could just be friends with Anna Kournikova". Enrique turned round and looked at the picture and then said "Yeah, you're right." When the subject of Anna was brought up, he went quite bashful and coy.

BILD with Enrique&Emma-story / sorry for Screensaver-unavailability
It was only a question of time... - german BILD-newspaper with its report about what Enrique reportedly (Source: mirror) did at the Europe Music Awards! They also mention previous rumours of Anna's furious behaviour at the VMA's in New York when she found out that Enrique and Kylie Minogue were exchanging phone numbers. And they also mention that Anna, reportedly DRUNKEN, threw garbage on stage during Enrique's Miami-concert for 1 hour!
MY OPINION:
Think what you want, believe what you want. There
MIGHT be some truth in all these gossip-headlines
but who knows except eyewitnesses and of course
Enrique and Anna themselves??? NOBODY! I don't want
to think about this crap and just want to keep this
lovely memory from the Sunday Times in mind and
NOTHING ELSE right now!!!

Is THIS really surprising me??? NO! According to 3 a.m. Enrique had a romance with blonde TV presenter Emma Jones. For more details about F***cking Enrique and this story read here!
Personally I hate him and I don't get it how a man can cheat on Anna when he and Anna are a couple. It would be the biggest dream of my life to date Anna but Enrique obviously thinks that he's not in heaven yet. ANNA, PLEASE. IF HE IS CHEATING ON YOU GET RID OF HIM. THEN (and only IF this is true) YOU DESERVE SOMETHING BETTER THAN HIM!

japanese restaurant in Miami Beach - obviously at
the Friday where she also gave the phone interview
with guys in Winnipeg! Anna talks about her training
right now, that elusive first Singles title,
Wimbledon this year and SO MUCH MORE. Plus: Very
interesting side notices what she ate, what happened
during her practise sessions etc.! This interview is
really something special and after I read it I have
to say once again: Anna, I love you :-)))

Well, I haven't seen the FULL 3 hour-show yet but from what I have seen, heard and read so far - ANNA WASN'T THERE?!?!?! First of all - this is just MY OPINION:
The MTV Europe Music Awards take place in Barcelona (Spain) on thursday evening (November 14)! After Anna & Enrique's VMA-appearance I think it is more than likely that Anna will be there with Enrique again and we will see both on TV again :-(((
PLUS: As I have just read at the Enrique Iglesias-board he will be in Ireland in the beginning of December - Anna will be there, too (Collins Cup-exhibition match vs Seles on December 5)!
PLUS: Anna plays an exhibition match vs Conchita Martinez in Zaragoza (Spain) on December 1 - I assume Enrique will be there, too!

On Friday, November 8, 2002 Anna made a conference call from Miami, mainly concerning the Winnipeg-exhibition which comes up on December 15, 2002! As already posted here 2 days ago Anna will play an exhibition match against Conchita Martinez at the Prince Felipe pavilion in Zaragoza (Spain) on December 1, 2002! More News
BUT: Today I was really looking how
far away from me is Zaragoza in Spain -
unfortunately nearly 2000 kilometres. So this is
even way too far for me to jump into my car and
drive there. Flying by plane??? Honestly this would
be too much of an adventure for me and also way too
expensive I think. Plus: I am on duty on that sunday
and it would be pretty hard for me to find someone
who would switch duty with me!
I was just thinking about going to this
Zaragoza-exhibition because this would have been
an opportunity for me to see Anna LIVE again (I
didn't see her in Leipzig and Filderstadt lately
:-((( ) - but it is simply out of reach for me which
makes me sad of course!
Ranking News: Anna's Singles Ranking got up
for some reason by one spot - she's currently ranked
35th in the world again with 966 points and in
Doubles she also maintained her rank among the Top
10 - 9th ranked with 1992 points! In the final
"Porsche Race to the Championships"-Rankings (the
season-ending "Masters" currently takes place in Los
Angeles, California, USA) Anna is still ranked 35th
in Singles (969 points) and her Doubles positions:
6th with Martina Hingis (1241 points), 19th with
Chanda Rubin (475 points) and 76th with Meghann
Shaughnessy (163 points)!

2002 wasn't the year I was
hoping for, neither oncourt nor offcourt.
Anna barely won more Singles matches than she lost
and although she could improve her Rankings throught
the year by roughly 50%! BUT: Anna played poorly at
the Grand Slams, except for the Australian Open
where she really had a strong opponent (Henin)!
Remember Anna's "Am-I-on-the-court-at-all?"-performance
at the US Open vs Widjaja!!!! I think that tells the
whole story. I admit that Anna was hampered by
numerous injury setbacks (neck injury in Acapulco-SF
/ right thigh strain in Rome / ankle injury in
Moscow - end of the season) which is sad but this
really doesn't fully explain her total downfall
during march and April where she barely played in
Singles anymore (just 6 matches in March and April)
because she always lost in the 1st round!!! I give
Anna a lot of credit for her smart decisions to hire
Solomon as her coach and to get rid of her parents
and especially her mother Alla as a coach! This was
very smart, Anna! In my opinion Anna's best
tournaments 2002 were San Diego, Stanford, Shanghai
and Tokyo! But the problem is that she had more weak
tournament-performances than she had good ones :-(((
I am no expert, I am just a fan and I just hope that
Anna gets mentally tougher sometimes and that I
don't hear this "I wasn't in the match for some
reasons"-excuse anymore or at least fewer times.
The OFFCOURT-year 2002: I just have to say
Enrique and that mainly tells the whole story I
think. In the beginning of the year I saw the video,
I saw the making of, I read the first rumours of
romantic dinners and concert-visits etc.! In the
middle of the year the first pictures from London
came up where you really could see Anna attending
his concert (July 7) and of course the BIG "Yes-we-are-together"-APPEARANCE
of Anna and Enrique at the VMA's in New York ("I don't really have a
glamour life. You know, I don't really go anywhere", Anna-quote from
Montreal - August 12, 2002. . . . . .) - both
knew that millions and millions of people would see
that! Well, looking back to the first half of 2002
with the "knowledge" I have now I have to say that I
am jealous and that I still don't like Enrique at
all (of course I hate his music)! I think he has a
bad influence on Anna and right now I really would
love a second Anna&Sergej-romance!!!! He is an
athlete as well but Enrique is just a tacky pop toy
of the industry, got popular by his father etc etc!
Okay, if Anna is in love with Enrique than okay -
but I really don't want to hear rumours and "reportedly"-stories
every second day (like this year) forever! In the
end it is Anna's decision, Anna's feelings but RIGHT
NOW where no Tennis News come up I just get the
feeling that Anna isn't absolutely serious about her
tennis career anymore. Probably I am wrong but hey -
she could at least drop a few lines to US at her
messageboards and this she should have done already
weeks ago!!!!

WONDERFUL NEWS - end of November/beginning of december is kind of an "magic exhibition"-timeframe for me because in 1998 I almost would have seen her LIVE for the first time in Cologne (November 30) and on December 1, 1998+1999 she played at the Youth Trophy in Geneva (Switzerland)!

4 days are gone...NO PIECE OF TENNIS-NEWS AT ALL! This is just sad! Anna is with Enrique and obviously makes one appearance after the other at his concerts! GREAT ANNA :-((((

more concert-news: Well, now more news came
up to my ears about what reportedly happened at the
Miami-concert of Enrique on November 2, 2002!
Obviously Anna was there with her parents, talked to
people before the show and was talking to Enrique's
grandma after the show...!

A few days ago I said that Anna committed to play Auckland in the beginning of 2003! I got this info by mail! In the first instance unfortunately I wasn't able to check out the official tournament website for confirmed info but now I got another email by someone who asked the tournament organisers and it seems that they WON'T ANNOUNCE WHO IS COMING TO AUCKLAND 2003 FOR A FEW MORE WEEKS!!!!!

Well, I WAS NOT THERE (of course, because I live in Germany and had to work) BUT: No pictures - no REAL confirmation for me anymore. I don't think that Anna would do something like this. I was also thinking that she would be there and reportedly she was (frustrating enough :-(((( ) but I really don't think that she would act like she reportedly did act during the concert. Who definitely knows???? I don't!
