In her latest Journal entry ("My 5th
Year of WTT") Anna tells us about her 3rd straight year of playing WTT with
the Sacramento Capitals. She mentions her WTT schedule (unfortunately "just"
3 instead of 5 events like last year) and she states that she loves the WTT
format, the atmosphere which gives her the opportunity "to give back to the
fans that have supported me throughout my career."

WTT Conference Call
The annual WTT Conference Call took place on June 27th, 2007 and
Anna was also interviewed! She talks about her current projects (BGCA, "K-Swiss
for working out" to be launched in 2008), her passionate work with kids in
general ("the curiosity in their eyes"), her cousin, her favorite players
(Seles, Agassi, recently Kim Clijsters) and, in the end, she was also asked
about plans with regard to the Pro Tour? Anna: "No plans right now."

WTT Smash Hits
Anna will participate in this year's WTT Smash Hits event which
takes part at Villanova in suburban Philadelphia on October 10th, 2007 (7 pm).
Other famous players to take part in this event are Andy Roddick and Lindsay
Davenport. More players to be named later. The Tennis Channel may televise
this event later in October and November.

Anna's cousin about Anna: Evgeny Korolev (whose mother Irina is the
sister of Anna's mother Alla) will play at his first Wimbledon tournament
this year. He was recently interviewed and, of course, Anna-questions came
up...

Anna attended the
topspin radio show in Toronto on June 11th. "Crazyemerald" managed to catch
the web broadcast:
Anna talks about Enrique ("I couldn't be happier, everything is good"), the
fascination of playing on the pro circuit ("Nothing will ever compare to
being on the court"), the pains from her injuries ("I definitely feel it in
my joints") and that she has "other passions now".
Furthermore she said that she's currently trying to get ready for the summer
"Masters" (WTT).
After all, she doesn't tell us new things but one thing is remarkable:
Honestly, I asked via e-mail if she'll be playing an exhibition in Europe
(Germany) in the future...
...and according to "Crazyemerald" she "said (in response to a question (PERHAPS
MY ONE)) that
she would be interested in doing an exhibition/charity event in Europe but it was obvious nothing was planned."

PERSONAL COMMENT: Well, chances of an exhibition/charity event in Europe...what do you think how big these chances are??? I would love to see her again, so I keep on hoping.
Anna at NBC Today Show: Obviously Anna
did a three minute segment on NBC's Today show about her fitness video for
the Boys and Girls Club. She does some excercises with kids from a local B&G
club. She is fully kitted out in K-Swiss and mentions she is designing a full
range of clothes coming out in 2008. This took place last Thursday on her
birthday!!!

Bar-El designed Anna's stunning red dress and Anna sat together with her
entourage (5 people) at a table, signed autographs and posed for pictures
with young fans. She also had time to sip champagne and talk about Enrique (a
little bit): "He's great. He's a joker – completely. He's fun, too much fun.

Regency Century Plaza Hotel) on June 3rd.

PERSONAL COMMENT: As usual, I think she looks the best when she doesn't wear any make-up at all. This kind of pictures are simply awesome!
Awards for Anna (Journal entry): In her
latest Journal entry ("Sports Spectacular") Anna tells us that she's been
home for the last couple of weeks (since May 14th I think) and she's now "going
to Los Angeles" on June 3rd where she'll be "attending the 22nd Annual Sports
Spectacular event where I will be accepting the Lifetime Achievement Award in
Sports."
