another exhibtion - great! She'll participate in the
Mercedes-Benz Gwinnett Classic which will be held at
the Gwinnett Center in Northern Georgia on May 6th,
2006. Other confirmed players: Jim Courier, John
McEnroe, Jana Novotna. The Mercedes-Benz Gwinnett
Classic will work with VolleyFest, a charity that

In her latest Journal entry, "New York & Memphis"
Anna talks about her experiences at the New York
Adidas Y-3 Fashion Show ("Yohji Yamamoto is
brilliant!") and at the charity exhibition in
Memphis. In the end of the Journal entry she states
that she has "a lot of things coming up in the next
few months..."! No big news at all but nice to know
that she keeps us informed so up-to-date since many
months.

"Alternate Beauty"-author about Anna
Andrea Rains Waggener, author of the book "Alternate Beauty" (Anna held this book in her left hand when she left a South Beach gym on November 15, 2005), received an e-mail telling her that Anna was reading her novel. The book is about "an obese woman who finds herself in an alternate universe where fat is considered beautiful". Andrea also said: "I wouldn't have expected someone with a body like Kournikova's to be interested in the subject. Perhaps Anna Kournikova was drawn to 'Alternate Beauty' because she feels the pressure to live up to the beauty standard and perfect body image that is attributed to her." Anna will participate in the 3rd annual Mercedes Benz Tennis Classic event which will take place at the St.Petersburg Times Forum Arena at Tampa (Florida). The event is scheduled for wednesday, April 5, 2006!
The event is promoted by Jim Courier's event management company "Inside Out Live" (the company also promoted the "Serving for Tsunami Relief"-event in Houston on January 31, 2005)!
