WTT Pro League 2005 schedule released /Anna and OMEGA? / Anna at THE VIEW / new pictures (THE VIEW, strange in front of hotel) / NEWS "automized"
The schedule for this year's WTT Pro League has been published - here's the important part for all Anna-fans (Anna plays for the Sacramento Capitals):
July 7th: S. Capitals vs Newport Beach Breakers
(in L.A.)
July 10th: S.Capitals vs Philadelphia Freedoms (in
Sacramento)
July 12th: S.Capitals vs Houston Wranglers (in
Houston)
July 12th: S.Capitals vs Hartford FoxForce (in
Hartford)
Most interesting will be the event in Houston
where Anna will face tennis legend STEFFI GRAF (either
in Singles, Doubles or Mixed) who plays for the
Houston Wranglers!

Anna and OMEGA?: Is OMEGA still a sponsor of
Anna??? The last event which Anna attended was in
Plymouth - on May 31st, 2004!!!! Since September
2000 (when the contract has been made) there was
never such a big time span between two events.

YOU know more??? I don't think Anna will keep us
informed about that.
Anna at THE VIEW: New quotes have been
published about what Anna said at her 2nd guest
co-host appearance at "THE VIEW" - she talks about
cursing oncourt and how she stood in the line when
the first McDonald's restaurant was opened in Moscow

Anna 's 2nd "The View"-appearance
Well, in Anna's 2nd appearance as guest co-host of "The View" (ABC) she sang - Enrique's voice coach Ron Anderson gave her a singing lesson. Anna wasn't proud of her voice and said "I sound like a screaming cat" afterwards. Read more | "The View"-Week-Review

According to "aj_m2009" who did see the "THE VIEW"-TV-show (1st of 2 shows where Anna will be the guest host) Anna really said "...when I stopped playing professional tennis..." - it sounds like she did it by the way, as if she already would have officially announced that long time ago. FRUSTRATING!
PERSONAL COMMENT: Well, my hope for a WTA-comeback is also gone! But: I really expected some kind of an Official Retirement-Announcement. That never happened - Anna just stopped playing pro Tennis and never really officially confirmed her retirement. I guess some questions will always remain unanswered and I will never have the opportunity again to see Anna LIVE because I live in Germany where she will most likely never play Tennis again :-(((((

gmx.de Anna has already written her
last will. Quotes: "I think everybody should do this.
That's really, really good. It's just incredible
important. I want everything to be clear and fixed.
I am quite well organized in this kind of things. I
have all documents which might be necessary."
PERSONAL COMMENT: Can this be true??? At the age of 23??? Well, not impossible but why should she talk about THIS??? I doubt that she'd do that. A possible reason for her to do this step might have been the sad sad story from the woman in Florida which led to much controversy.
Anna's 1st "The

Reportedly she talked with her guests about the
Michael Jackson trial, gay athletes (however that
topic came up), clothing and also said that she's
NOT MARRIED TO ENRIQUE!!!! Plus: She also did
some exercises which are meant to be done by couples
and she said that she still practises a lot and
still loves to be on the court (good info).
But the most frustrating thing she said (although no
surprise anymore) - read in the Tennis News-section
above...

Finally we know WHEN Anna will be the guest host of "THE VIEW" (US TV show, report):
Anna will be hosting the show on April 14+15, 2005!!!
Guests, content?: The show on April 14th will also feature an "exercise segment" and on April 15th Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson will be the guests, plus a segment on vacation homes.

It's April Fools Day but this is no joke: Anna will play World Team Tennis (WTT) again - for the 3rd year in a row but this time for the Sacramento Capitals and not for the Kansas City Explorers. Sacramento Bee Staff Writer Melody Gutierrez confirmed that Anna will play one home match for the Sacramento Capitals and three other matches away from Sacramento.
