Anna was already in Berlin,we are very sad about it because if knew it a little bit earlier we would have been there definitely!So now the pictures of this presentation in the Berlin Musum for communication appear and of course Anna looks incredible!Take a look!

ANNA IN BERLIN
Well,the speed of changes is incredible! We just heard that Anna won`t be able to play neither Hamburg nor Berlin but just a few minutes later we read on bild.de (the newspaper which honored our Website a few days ago...) that Anna WILL COME TO BERLIN!!!
So what`s up???
The clue is that Anna will come to Berlin and we are more than happy about that but not to compete in the German Open Tennis Tournament.Anna will take part in a new Omega Presentation.
It is not quite clear if Anna is in Berlin TODAY or next Friday, so if anybody knows something PLEASE inform us! Additionally we know the location of this Presentation: The Berlin Museum for Communication but sorry, we don`t know where it is exactly in Berlin.
We would be very happy if YOU could inform us when you know something more.Thanx in advance.

God,why are you so cruel???
Whoever said this world is a fair place is a lying!NO,the world is not fair and also not God!So it seems to us because Anna cancelled the whole "german tour" what she never did before!
After Acapulco,Ericsson Open,Amelia Island,Hilton Head and Hamburg (just yesterday) Anna also withdraws from the German Open in Berlin from May 7-13th!
It is hard to believe that her left foot is still not healthy enough but this seems to be the simple fact -> Anna is just not fit enough to come back!But:Only Rome remains for her to get a little bit practise for the important French Open!
If Anna will also miss Paris,the 2nd Grand Slam of the year, then we really have to ask ourselves the question, if Anna has lost the interest in playing tennis! We cannot imagine that Anna has lost her passion for Tennis, how could this be??? We don`t have an answer but it is more than frustrating to keep on waiting from week to week just hoping that Anna finally comes back!

Another Withdrawal from Anna...
It is hard to believe but Anna has also withdrew from the Betty Barclay Cup and this already on wednesday the week before!We really don`t have an explanation anymore.It seems that despite all pictures and written articles Anna is still not healthy enough to compete.Here the official report from tournament officials:
"Anna Kournikova declines Betty
Barclay Cup
Hamburg - Anna Kournikova declined to enter in the
Betty Barclay Cup declined. The russian suffers from
a fatigue breach in the left knuckle. These news
were confirmed the WTA in St. Petersburg, Florida. 'We
regret very much that Anna cannot play. With Venus
Williams and the other Top-players, we have
nevertheless a very good user field', said
tournament director Walter Tighter."
Well,in
our opinion NO tournament without Anna is a worth a visit but what can we
do except hoping and praying that Anna will be able to play the German
Open.
Time for Anna gets close to prepare for the important French Open! Only
Berlin and Rome are left to get practise on clay courts!

Anna to return in Hamburg???
If we understand the statements on Annas official Website correctly, then Anna WILL return to the Tennis circuit the following week in Hamburg!YEAH!GREAT! So long Tennis without Anna, it is time to return and for sure Anna has to get used to playing matches again but we hope that she will be absolutely "in-the-gam" again in Berlin or Rome!
Remember late 1999 when Anna returned from a similar injury in Linz:She won the first match but lost the second, then good results in Leipzig but unfortunately she suffered a first round defeat by Justin Henin straight afterwards in Philadelphia befor loosing to Mary Pierce in the first round of the Chase Championships although Anna was leading a set and 5-2 in the 2nd set!

Well,nice news for us!The german daily newspaper BILD,which featured Annas topless pictures on April 20,honored US,www.anna4ever.de,for being the "most beautiful Fan-Site on the Net"!Thanks a lot!
Beside that, Anna is still confirmed to compete in Hamburg the next week.We think that she will definitely start there if we "survive" Saturday and Sunday without the Withdrawal.
Remember:In Amelia Island Anna pulled out in the last moment on Sunday, one week later in Hilton Head she withdrew already on Friday before the tournament started.
So
we think that these 3 days will make it clear if
Anna returns or not.
Perhaps the reason for Anna to withdraw from Hilton
Head was just to be perfectly secure that her left
foot will be fully recovered!She was able to rest
for additional 2 weeks by her withdrawal from Hilton
Head so in our opinion this should finally be enough!
She was able to improve her ranking this week although it was just another week where she was sidelined from playing.The Reason: Sanchez-Vicario had a bad result in Hilton Head.

come back!But:Still 3 weeks?Still 2 Tournaments she

She already went out of the Top10 this week and is
just Russians Nr.2 after Elena Dementieva (11th

Five days are gone since we`ve seen these incredible Paparazzi-Pictures of Anna showing her topless while she is sunbathing.

Well,words aren't enough
It is hard to describe our feelings - yesterday evening we saw pictures we wanted and didn`t want to see at the same time.I guess those who read this know which pictures we`re talking about!Anna is lying on a lounge...topless!Now,we will never show these pictures here despite this websites tells that Anna liked her Bikini-Pictures which were published by this mag a few days ago.Can this be the truth?

Anna still won't come back
It is a very frustrating fact for us to realize that Anna has withdrew from the Family Circle Cup in Hilton Head!We really hoped that she is able to play again and on the latest pics of Anna where she was sunbathing she really looked quite fit - no more bandage like in Acapulco some weeks ago.
What`s
now? - Anna won`t return to the WTA Tour.Hopefully 2 more weeks are enough
for Anna to recover completely becaus in May the clay tournaments in
Hamburg,Berlin and Rome start.If Anna doesn`t play them it will be very
questionable that Anna plays the French Open at the end of May because
then she wouldn`t have played for more than 3 months!
Well, in fact we don`t believe that this will happen but for now she has
withdrew from Charleston,the last clay tournament in the United States.
The next possible Comeback- Tournament is the Betty Barclay Cup in Hamburg
(Germany) which starts von April 30! Anna is still confirmed to play there
but she was also confirmed to play in Amelia Island and Hilton Head, so
once again we can just hope and pray!

Anna makes you fit
Anna will release a fitness video on June,4th 2001,3 days before her 20th Birthday!The Video is called "Basic Elements" and will feature warmup- and cool-down-exercises as well as some nice On- and Offcourt-Shots of Anna!
Oncourt news are still not available,we cant do anything else than hoping that Anna will play in Hilton Head the upcoming week.

Anna seems to relax in the sun
Today we found some Pics of Anna we can`t show you!Why?Well,Anna wouldn`t appreciate it,that`s the reason!It seems that Anna recovers completely from her stress fracture by lying in the garden and relaxing in the sun as you can see on those pictures! She is hanging around with some friends and just enjoys the sunny weather.
These are good news because it seems that Anna is match-fit again in Hilton Head next week.Hope with us that she will compete again!

Oh No!Anna is still injured
We heard these news and couldn`t believe it! Yesterday a representative of Anna from Octagon called Tournament Officials in Amelia Island to tell them that Anna is still not 100% fit!Her stress fracture isn`t healed completely and this is very very frustrating, for us as well as Anna herself!She has waited until the last minute to decide if she plays in Amelia Island or not!Well, the frustrating result was that she had to withdraw!
No we can just hope that another week will finally be enough for Anna to recover completely!

Rank 8 despite of Injury?Do you really understand the WTA Ranking System??We don't actually!Although Anna is injured and hasn`t played for nearly 2 months she improved her singles ranking to #8!!!!!
WHY?Of course we are very happy to notice that Anna and not Elena Dementieva is still Russias best player according to the Ranking but it is confusing - absolutely confusing! Last year Anna played Scottsdale,Indian Wells and the Ericsson Open - this year NONE OF THESE Tournaments due to her stress fracture!But:Anna still can maintain her Singles Rank,she has the same Rank she already had on Februar 9,2001 as she played agains Amelia Mauresmo at the Open Gaz de France,her last match so far this year!
Well,let's hope that Anna will return in one week in Amelia Island because although it seems that you really have to go to study to understand the Ranking system,sooner or later Anna will drop out of the Top10 if she doesn't return very soon!
