News from kournikova.com-relaunch: Richie, member of kournikova.com Support Staff, gives new infos about the NEW kournikova.com (relaunch date: May 12th):
- no re-registration necessary
- all forum postings will remain active
He also mentioned that a new live chat room would be an "interesting thought"...!

kournikova.com-relaunch set for May 12th: Great news! Finally there's an announcement about the relaunch of Anna's official website, kournikova.com! "ifcak_staff", the Admin, announced that the new website will be launching on May 12th and therefore, the forum will be closed temporarily on May 7th due to necessary upgrades.
Hopefully the new kournikova.com will turn out to be just great.

The announcement PERSONAL COMMENT: Remember Anna's announcement about the kournikova.com-relaunch in her Journal entry on December , 2007? I think some of us already thought that the relaunch was cancelled in the meantime but fortunately the relaunch really happens. I wonder what the new website will look like.

new article in Tennis Mag: There's an article about Anna in the May issue of Tennis Magazine - it's about Anna's impact on Tennis and her current life. Some interesting news: There was supposed to be an interview with Anna in South Beach last winter but her grandmother (who flew in surprisingly with Anna's dad to visit her) had to go to hospital but Anna was still available for a phone interview!
She states that she's
"proud of what I did" and referring to the never-ending "She's never won a Singles Title"-issue she said:
"I wish sometimes I would have played stupider and simpler and not thought so much"! Anna also mentioned that back in her pro career
"on the outside I tried to show that I'm in control - I wasn't really"! Plus: Anna spoke with Maria Sharapova at a NBA game 2 years ago about
