The future of the AKFS: Well, during the last few days I really didn't miss posting Anna-news here. I will contribute more to the official Messageboard in the future. The future of this website? This main page will be redesigned - focus will be on the fan photos, the videos, the poll section will remain active. I will start working on this next week.

halle and the future: i know that this was most likely the last time that i got the chance to see anna live - in fact i believed that stuttgart
(july 08) would have been the last time. Today was a very special day and i will write down everything i have experienced
as soon as i return home in a few hours. Tomorrow i will write an english trip-report which i will post at kournikova.com-
messageboard. The reason i am posting this in the website-section: the AKFS news coverage will end - but the website
will be updated on a regular basis...

halle - my live report: 12:55 after five hours by train, finally at the tournament site. Scary: security guys wanted me to leave my camcorders
outside!! But now i am inside the complex - with my equipment / 13:55 rain started and still three hours until the mixed
match starts. Havent seen anna so far / 14:50 watched michael stichs indoor-public training. No anna in sight. Still
raining, centre court-roof closed / 19:40 anna/kiefer lost 4:6,5:7 vs groenefeld/stich. A great full 2-set-match. Anna wore
recent yellow/white-outfit. Got the chance to see her departure: she posed for pictures, wrote many autographs,
thanked us for attending. Just so amazing and lovely. I will never forget that day

Anna played in Prostejov - pictures: So far, the outcome of the Mixed matches is still unknown but the first pictures of Anna playing in a nice blue/white-KSwiss-Outfit are available (with white visor). She partnered with Karel Novacek and Jagomir Jagr. Both matches were played at the Agrofert Arena at the Prostejov Tennis Club (Czech Republic). Plus: Before the Tennis event, Anna also played Golf or at least she tried to do that :-) Nice pictures. See the pictures:

Halle is approaching...: Just a few hours left until my final trip to a Tennis-Event with Anna will start. I bought the ticket many months ago, today I finally secured my transportation. Hopefully it won't rain tomorrow - unfortunately, the weather forecast is not very good. I really hope that it'll be a great experience once again and, well, I really think that this will be the very last time...ANNA LIVE...one more time...

Anna at Incirlik Aribase (Video): See a great video of Anna visiting the Incirlik Unit High School during her recent 2nd USO Trip. Anna answered questions by the students at their campus auditorium at Incirlik US Air Base in Turkey. Quote:
"It's a long travel for me. It took about 24 hours to get here, but every second was completely worth it. I love doing this. And it's an incredible feeling coming out and seeing everybody, I'm really happy to show my appreciation, and it definitely is a great feeling." See the video

new Ramstein-videos: See new videos from Anna speaking to young kids and students at Ramstein Highschool during her recent USO Trip to Turkey and Germany (May 16-21, 2009). Quote:
"I always wanted to give back and try to encourage kids to get involved into sports. Even if it's just something that you do for fun. It teaches you so many things. So it's very important for me to encourage young people and teenagers to get involved into sports." See the videos:

Prostejov infos: Finally, there are more infos available about Anna's upcoming participation at Prostejov-based ATP Challenger tournament. Anna will play 2 Mixed Doubles matches:
>> 5:00pm: Anna/Karel Novacek vs Petra Langrova-Pichalova/Jiri Novak
>> later: Anna/Jaromir Jagr vs 2 other guests
Reportedly, Anna will be heading to Prostejov from Vienna (Austria)!!! Most likely, Anna will leave Prostejov by plane late friday evening to arrive in Halle/Westfalen (Germany) in time for her Mixed Doubles event on June 6th.

The LIVE CHAT - summary: The 2009 Live Chat with Anna is over - from 3:00pm - 3:37pm EST Anna was present at the K-Swiss sponsored Live Chat and answered a variety of questions (latest movies seen, birthday gift for Enrique, golf, favorite foods,...) and from my 4 questions posted, Anna picked out one:
"what about your cooking abilities? improved?"
Anna:
"definitely improved since my grandmother has helped me for the past 8 months. she's back in russia but we'll start again in the fall - so i'm getting there!"
I posted other, more interesting, questions:
- Anna you recently said that you want to get rid of the Bikini-model-image but you also said that you need some kind of income and therefore you didn't rule out photoshoots in general. What about commentating Tennis on TV?
- Do you plan to play other sports (like running in triathlons) in the near future?
- Do you plan on supporting other organizations like BGCA, USO and PSI in the future?
Unfortunately, Anna didn't pick any of these questions. Plus: This time, Anna didn't encourage us to post more private questions like last time. Overall: A very nice chat although it's been a bit too short.
